Sujit with JJ. We met JJ on our tour and he was fun to hang out with. A tree surgeon from UK , this brit is half columbian. He is very well travelled and it was interesting to talk to him about his travels and adventures

With the messengers of love at San Jose downtown

Mount Arenal first erupted in 1968 and since then there has been a continous lava flow.

La~Fortuna Downtown. La ~ Fortuna is the city near Mount Arenal. Before Arenal first erupted in 1968,the back side of the mountain was heavily populated and this region was sparce. The volcano lava flowed into the populous region causing widespread destruction and this side was saved. Hence the name La~Fortuna(the fortunate one)

Walking towards the Arenal lake, the scene was too panaromic to resist
